Brother of sometime Escapee Dave, I seemed to have got involved in this after enjoying one or more pints of the landlords finest! Now sober I'm more than happy to lend my support to Make a Wish.

I've enjoyed many a day in the saddle over the years but must admit to being less than frequently there in recent times! I was one of the few people seen riding the streets of Sheffield on a BMX whilst at Uni in the 90's and still have one hanging up in the garage, although I think it will have to be handed down to my son now! Now my bike has gears and is proper sized I can take part in this bike ride to raise lots of money for this great cause.

My Cycling Highlight

Taking my brand new Raleigh BMX Burner and stripping all the paint off to reveal the lovely chrome underneath! Mum and Dad weren't best pleased as I'd only had it a week! But it did look cool!

My First Bike

A little red number with stabliser wheels and a bell but can't remember what it was called! Upgraded to a Tomahawk, then got the BMX bug!
