I live in Guildford, run my own company called KOOSA Kids and haven't ridden a bike for about 5 years!

Given my lack of biking pedigree, I have to say I am really looking forward to this bike ride. Ever since being probably the only kid in my school to fail, yes FAIL, the cycling proficiency test, I have been looking for a means to exorcise my demons. Thank you in advance Team Escape, I would just advise not to get too close and definitely not to follow my lead.

Seriously, I am aware of the great work that Make-A-Wish Foundation carry out, and it's great to be able to do something meaningful to raise some money for the cause. Being a less than serious biker, this is going to represent quite a challenge, but myself and my girlfriend Jemma will give it all we have got... so we might just make it to the first ale house!

My Cycling Career

The longest distance I have cycled in one go to date is a bit like Mr Campling with my longest bike rides being restricted to the Basingstoke Canal, with fishing rod and rucksack in hand. So not very far!

My First Bike

I struck lucky, still not quite sure how I managed to persuade the parents, but I started with that legend of a bike, the Raleigh 'Mag' Burner. I can remember little about the bike, apart from the blue frame, yellow wheels and taking it in turns with my bro to 'ghosty' it in to my neighbour's wall!
