Katherine Head

I'm married to Stuart, having tied the knot earlier this year, and we currently live in sunny Swindon. I am sad to say that at the age of 26 I seem to be the eternal student and am currently finishing off my PhD. I hope to join the real world of work in October.

I'm not quite sure how I got roped into doing this. Probably a combination of Danny Campling's art or persuasion and one too many G & T's! Having bought bikes about a year ago I can count on one hand the number of times we have used them. Not great training so far but hopefully we'll fit a few more rides in before the big day.

My Cycling Career

Longest Distance Cycled in one go to date: Around 20 miles I think. A trek along the Ridgeway between Swindon and Wantage and back again. I had a sore bum for at least a week!
